About the CompanyA leading food manufacturing business supplying high-quality products to major UK and Irish retailers. The teams work cross-functionally to bring new products from concept to launch in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.Responsibilities:

The Specifications Technologist will manage customer specifications across retailer systems (e.g. Tesco, ASDA, Lidl, Musgrave, Dunnes)
Maintain accurate recipe, nutritional, and product data across all specification systems
Own packaging and labelling specifications, including back-of-pack, case and pallet labels
Support product launches, ensuring all specifications and technical documentation are completed on time
Ensure compliance with food labelling legislation, retailer standards, and internal quality systems

Requirements:

Experience in a Specifications Technologist or similar technical role in food manufacturing/FMCG
Strong knowledge of retailer specification systems and food labelling legislation
Experience with SAP and labelling systems such as NiceLabel or Colos
Excellent attention to detail with strong data accuracy skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
