Experienced Hotel Receptionist required for 4* South Dublin Hotel ~ Dun Laoghaire, Co DublinWe currently have a vacancy for a Receptionist on our Front Desk at the Royal Marine Hotel.A South Dublin Institution established in 1828: the Royal Marine Hotel is situated in an elevated site set in four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking Dublin Bay. The 4* star Hotel offers guests a host of services.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesChecking guests in/outCarry out front office administration including answering telephones, emailsAnswer queries from residents, prospective residents and conference guestsTo liaise with other departments e.g. to book dinnerEnsuring all reservations are crossed checked with correspondenceBeing familiar with various internet hotel booking sites in operationEnsuring all guests needs are communicated to the Front Office Team and other hotel team members as necessaryTaking bookings for individual bedroom reservations (at times when the reservations department is closed)Experience/Qualifications*A friendly positive can-do-attitudeHotel Reception ExperienceMust be fluent in English both written and oralMust have an excellent telephone mannerBe committed to delivering exceptional serviceMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work early, late and weekends shifts as requiredExcellent interpersonal skills requiredA knowledge of Hotsoft Front Office System or similar is preferredIn return, we also offer excellent employee benefits including:
