  • Level 8 or 9 degree in civil engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer.
  • Experience in administering Irish Public Works Contracts.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant road design and construction standards and specifications, including TII, NTA etc.
  • Experience in monitoring construction quality, safety and environmental management systems.
  • Experience in monitoring temporary traffic management schemes.
  • Enthusiatic, hardworking and flexible.
  • Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team, including managing and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
