Full-Time | Permanent | North DublinOur client, a well-established and growing organisation based in North Dublin, is currently seeking an experienced Transport & Warehouse Supervisor to join their operations team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both transport and warehouse functions, with responsibility for coordinating daily operations and leading a small team. You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently, warehouse activities run smoothly, and high standards of customer service are always maintained.Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day transport operations including delivery scheduling and route planning
- Coordinating a small fleet of in-house drivers and liaising with third-party logistics providers
- Overseeing warehouse and yard activities including goods in/out and stock movement
- Leading and supporting a team across warehouse and transport functions
- Ensuring all deliveries are executed efficiently and on time
- Maintaining accurate transport and vehicle records, including compliance documentation
- Monitoring stock control processes including cycle counts and inventory accuracy
- Supporting health & safety procedures and ensuring adherence across the team
- Acting as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules and updates
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or warehouse supervisory/coordinator role
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience managing or leading a team
- ERP/system experience (any similar system acceptable)
- Competent Excel skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proactive and solutions-driven mindset
- Knowledge of Dublin area advantageous
