The iconic Hardiman is seeking applications for the role of a Maintenance Person for weekend work.Standing proudly on Eyre Square since 1852, The Hardiman offers generous hospitality with a familiar, easy charm that makes guests feel right at home. The successful candidate will report directly to The Maintenance Manager and General Manager.Skills and Experience required:

Resolve problems as they arise
Ensure the premises are safe and functional for guests and employees
Deliver high quality maintenance and painting work.
Be knowledgeable of all aspects of maintenance operations
Have excellent attention to detail
Have pride and commitment in your area of work
Have a strong awareness of health & safety
Have ability to work on own initiative outside of any work lists
Possess an excellent problem-solving ability
To carry out of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance routines as per the departmental requirements
Follow up on all guest requests in relation to maintenance issues
To ensure repairs are carried out on a timely manner
To interact with all departments of the hotel
