As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team.Position Overview: As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are maintained within our facility. You will lead our nursing team, oversee clinical operations, and collaborate with other departments to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elderly care, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing effective nursing strategies.Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize resident care and safety.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback, training, and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including medical, therapy, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Manage nursing budgets, resources, and supplies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers, addressing concerns and promoting open communication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, research, and innovations in elderly care, implementing relevant changes to improve services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Management qualification
  • Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, quality assurance processes, and infection control practices.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
