Transport & Logistics Coordinator

You will manage key logistics, procurement, and planning tasks to support daily operations. Your work will ensure smooth order processing, stock management, and timely delivery of concrete products to construction sites, farms, and other customer locations. You will also oversee Health and Safety compliance related to logistics.Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders based on sales units and production schedules
- Source and order products including hardware, drinking troughs, and communication chambers
- Coordinate logistics to deliver products directly to sites across construction and agriculture sectors
- Track and manage inventory to support a growing product range
- Maintain accurate records for deliveries, stock, and procurement activities
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance by:
- Verifying Safe Passes, forklift certifications, and DOE licenses are up to date
- Managing driver records and ensuring adherence to safety requirements
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and optimise supply chain processes
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce delays
- Solid experience in logistics coordination within construction, manufacturing, or precast sectors
- Basic knowledge of procurement and planning processes
- Experience with inventory management and order processing
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements related to transport and equipment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively
