Full-time position with mostly early shifts (occasional evenings)
Rate DOE, 14 -15ph, 35 -40 hour contract, staff discount, pension

Responsibilities for this Retail Fishmonger Assistant Job

Procuring and handling seafood
Preparing fish for sale: Clean, cut, and prepare fish for display.
Customer service: Advising customers on seafood preparation and cooking techniques, ensuring high-quality products and excellent service.
Maintaining inventory: Monitor stock levels, ensuring freshness and hygiene standards are met.

Requirements for this Retail Fishmonger Assistant Job

Must have a vast knowledge of different types of fish, their preparation methods, and the ability to handle fish safely.
Good knife skills,
Should have 1 -2 years of experience in a fresh fish counter ideally in a shop, supermarket, market, or even production environment.
Must have a good working knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and good customer service experience.
