This role would suit someone who enjoys taking initiative, bringing fresh ideas, and building something new rather than stepping into an existing sales structure.What you'll be doing:
- Develop and roll out a business development plan to expand into new markets
- Spot and pursue new opportunities and partnerships
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients, from first contact to signed contract
- Work with internal teams to tailor our solutions for different sectors
- Represent the company at events, meetings, and networking opportunities
- Report on pipeline progress and market insights
- Help shape our sales tools and processes as we grow
We're after someone confident, driven, and who's excited by the chance to shape sales strategy from day one.Essential
- Demonstrable success in business development/ sales
- Proven track record of winning new business
- Able to work independently and collaborate well
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Commercially savvy and solution-focused
- Experience in manufacturing business
- Experience building or scaling a sales function
- Knowledge of the Irish construction or procurement sector
