- Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly analytical reviews and consolidating financials into a group-wide reporting pack.
- Supply Chain & Inventory: Tracking inventory and supplier liabilities through various purchasing stages, managing stock adjustments, and performing physical-to-system reconciliations.
- Treasury & Banking: Managing foreign exchange exposure, aligning cash holdings to currency-denominated liabilities, and completing multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- Ledger Management: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate income recognition, and managing creditor/debtor reconciliations.
- Compliance: Preparing VAT returns, tracking regulatory deadlines, and providing full documentation for annual audits.
- Professional Qualification: You must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with a relevant degree.
- Technical Background: A strong understanding of core accounting principles is essential. Experience in logistics accounting or payroll processing is a distinct advantage.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment: The ability to take ownership of tasks and meet strict month-end and year-end closing deadlines.
