- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organised work area in line with 5S principles.
- Promote a safety-first culture and report any hazards, incidents, or non-compliances promptly.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimise downtime.
- Perform statutory and electrical compliance checks, and support planned shutdown maintenance.
- Record all maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate reporting and job traceability.
- Identify and implement improvements to PM schedules and asset care routines.
- Support capital and engineering projects as required.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to optimise performance, yield, and reliability.
- Contribute to the plant's Continuous Improvement (CI) and Focused Improvement programmes.
- Use structured problem-solving tools (5 Whys, RCA) to analyse breakdowns and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement measures to reduce losses and waste.
- Actively participate in reviews of SOPs, work practices, and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-skilled maintenance team.
- Coach and mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge across shifts.

- Recognised Electrical, Electronic, or Automation qualification (essential).
- 3-5 years' experience in a medium-to-high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG production highly advantageous.
- Proven experience working with PLC, SCADA, and Industrial IT systems (Siemens desirable).
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, lean manufacturing, and reliability-centred maintenance.
- Experience using CMMS systems for planning, recording, and tracking maintenance activities.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP/CMMS systems (SAP advantageous).
- Basic commercial awareness, including understanding of cost drivers and budgeting processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Self-driven, organised, and results-focused with excellent attention to detail.
- Capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across departments.
