Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Underwriter for our client who are based in the City Centre. This is an exciting role and it will work across a range of business lines primarily within Property & Liability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and will have previous experience working within Financial Services. You will be working closely with the Actuarial and Marketing teams and will have a direct reporting line into the Underwriting Manager
Your Role:
- Meet all relevant Underwriting guidelines
- Work closely with the Actuarial and marketing teams
- Agree terms with new and existing client
- Coordinate relationships with current and existing clients
- Proactive in attending meetings with clients and relevant industry events
- Participation in any ad-hoc projects
- Previous experience within Financial Services and advantage
- Analytical background within a Finance role
- Educational background within an Engineering, Mathematical or Analytical subject
- Strong relationship building skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe on occasion
- Strong presentation skills
