Rockwell Engineering is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part-Qualified Accountant to join our Finance Team. We specialise in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of HVAC and utility pipework for large-scale biopharma facilities in Ireland.As we enter a new growth phase, we are building on our legacy of excellence and innovation, making this an exciting time to join the business.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to manage invoicing process through to final cash collection.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet).
  • Prepare VAT reconciliations and submit returns.
  • Play a key role in supporting the upcoming ERP implementation project and other strategic initiatives.
  • Administer all aspects of the Company Pension Scheme.
  • Contribute to the cyclical Budget and Forecast processes.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including preparation of documentation and responding to auditor queries.
  • Provide support to the Finance Controller on ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Carry out other finance and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years proven experience in a finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practice.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with financial/ERP systems desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
