MAIN TASK:- Provide a visitation service to the elderly of Blacklion Village and Day Centre. Show excellent communication skills Have good listening skills Have good hygiene & be friendly Treat all visitations in confidentiality KEY AREAS OF WORK VISITATIONS TO THE DAY CENTRE Assist with room preparation for meals Assist with meal preparation & deliverance Contribute to hygiene (Food & Personal) Communicate with the elderly on an individual basis Assist with the role of having a clean and safe environment Accompany the elderly on outings and day trips INFORMATION PROVIDER Inform the elderly of forthcoming events Assist with arranging outings and events for the elderly Provide information on parish bulletin to elderly Provide information on day care activities Provide information on Rural Lift Give local parish news to elderly Give awareness to Elderly and be aware of Health & Safety at Home and in the workplace Job Holder will ensure that privacy and confidentiality are adhered to at all time.
