Due to continued growth, our client, a leading engineering services contractor in Europe involved in complex technical projects in Pharmaceutical and Data Centres schemes is looking to hire an Electrical Estimator. Our client is focused on providing first class services in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection services. This organization also has a proven track record in providing services in Specialist Lift, Off Site Fabrication, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Technical Support Services, Maintenance, BIM (Building Information Modelling), Geo-Surveying and Asset Management.Job DescriptionAs an Electrical Estimator, you will hold a crucial role in our project development and implementation process. Collaborating closely with the Planning Manager, Project Manager, and a diverse team of engineers and industry specialists to contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge projects. This position is based in Cork.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Tendering on a variety of large–scale projects including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centers, healthcare etc.Involved in the full tender process from beginning to completion.Liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis.Informing managers of bid prospects.Attending pre and post tender interviews.Assemble sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.Attending meetings both internal and client based where required.Completing take-offs from tender drawings.3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.Degree Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.Trade background would be advantageous.Experience in pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Proficiency in MS Office systems required.Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.Benefits:Competitive salary & packageOpportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environmentWork-life balanceTraining and development programs.We are an equal opportunities employer who encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply for this role.Please apply with your up to date CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.
