
Equipment Engineer

- Collaborates with Value Streams to pinpoint potential areas for enhancing equipment through automation, vision systems, robotics, and more.
- Partners with Product Development to define equipment needs for new product introductions.
- Contributes to a team effort in outlining the specifications for new equipment (URS).
- Engages with vendors to assess equipment proposals, assist in vendor selection, and manage capital approval processes.
- Acts as a key team member in new equipment design evaluations and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
- Oversees the transfer and validation of equipment from other locations.
- Manages and implements departmental budgets and capital expenditures.
- Level 8 degree in Engineering-Manufacturing ,Mechanical or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of medical device manufacturing and equipment validation.
- Strong experience in creating and updating validation documentation, including URS, SFS, HDS, Work Instructions, SWS, Engineering studies, PFMCA, IQ and PQ.
- 2-4 years experience in the medical device industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
