- Performing enhanced due diligence (“EDD”) reviews on newly onboarded high risk individual customer accounts.
- Performing periodic and trigger based EDD reviews on high risk individual customer accounts.
- Acting as a point of escalation for compliance related questions from support teams.
- Reviewing PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) escalations and adhering to internal procedures.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and special requests from the compliance team as needed
- 2-5 years experience conducting CDD/EDD in a regulated institution, with a strong understanding of AML/CTF risk
- Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
- Organized with a high level of attention to detail.
- Enhanced Due Diligence experience (1-3 years)
- Compliance qualification (ACAMS, ICA Diploma, etc)
- Crypto qualification
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Experience working with global customers and US/International regulations
- Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
