Excel Recruitment is looking for cooks to work with our client in the Larne area, working within their fantastic industrial sites kitchen, with shifts available between Monday – Friday daytime.This position would be great for a Chef from Senior CDP level upwards who can work in a kitchen alone using your own initiative providing great food for the staff and residents at the site.Chef Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience preparing and cooking in a busy kitchen environment
  • HACCP Cert (Excel can supply this is needed)
  • As Cook you will have knowledge of all food safety guidelines
  • Availability for Saturday & Sunday day shifts 8am-3pm
  • Good level of spoken & written English
Chef Responsibilities
  • Working in a busy kitchen following the Care Home instructions
  • Work on your own section ensuring it is fully set for service
  • Always cook food to the highest standard
  • As Cook you will need to follow your supervisor’s instructions
  • Consistently keep yourself and your work area in the kitchen clean
  • Follow all health & safety as well as food safety guidelines
