- Ensuring exceptional customer service by accurately capturing crucial data during the notification stage.
- Proactive management of all incoming communication to achieve early and cost-effective resolutions for claims.
- Manage communications from all relevant parties, mitigating the risk of extended claim durations and associated expenses.
- Performing desktop investigations on claims and making indemnity/liability decisions where possible.
- Negotiating fair claim settlements with all involved parties.
- Keeping the Claims Manager informed of any changes in claim complexity and addressing them appropriately.
- Regularly reviewing files and reserves to ensure adherence to agreed service standards and quality under SLA’s.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the handling of Personal Injury Claims.
- APA/CIP or grandfather qualification with up-to-date CPD hours.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and performing well under pressure.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Commitment to accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
