NYX Hotels is a part of the Leonardo Hotels portfolio.The Linen Porter will support the smooth running and objectives of the Housekeeping department. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness.As a Linen Porter, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Housekeeper and keep things running like clockwork. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be making sure that linen is fully stocked and distributed among the departments and working as part of a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations.Here are some of the key responsibilities for a Linen Porter:

Assisting with guests’ requests: you’ll make every stay memorable by supporting with VIP rooms, baby cots, etc.
Communicating and collaborating with the Housekeeping Supervisors
Ensuring linen chutes and linen stores are tidy and fit for use

Support housekeeping staff during busy periods.

Adhere to manual handling guidelines when lifting linen loads.

Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.

Use protective equipment when handling soiled linens.
