DublinHours: 24 hours per weekContract: Permanent ContractSalary Scale: €22,394 - €32,273 (pro-rated to 24 hours)We are looking for a Part-Time Social Care Worker to join our dedicated Day Service team in Swords, Co. Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful impact by supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care, helping individuals achieve their full potential, and ensuring they are actively engaged in their communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong person-centred approach and will be committed to upholding our core values of respect, professionalism, progressiveness, and positivity. You will be instrumental in facilitating and supporting the people we support, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and have the opportunity to live fulfilling, independent lives.Requirements:
  • QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care or a related field.
  • Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration.
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement)
  • Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
  • Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
