Experienced Night Manager

• Will have significant prior experience working in a similar role within a hotel environment (experience is essential)
• Will be professional, highly organised, and possess excellent leadership and customer care skills
• Will have strong knowledge of hotel night operations and the ability to manage the hotel independently during night hours
• Must be a team player with the ability to lead and motivate staff in a busy environment
• Will be computer literate, with experience in hotel systems; knowledge of the Opera Reservations System would be a distinct advantage
• Will have fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Will be capable of handling guest queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
• Will demonstrate a high level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail

• Oversee the full operation of the hotel during the night shift, ensuring all departments run smoothly
• Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional service at all times
• Supervise and support night team members, including reception and night porters
• Carry out night audit procedures and ensure all financial transactions are balanced and recorded accurately
• Manage late check-ins, early departures, and reservations as required
• Ensure all security procedures and fire safety checks are completed and documented
• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
• Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively
• Prepare reports and communicate relevant information to senior management
• Assist with set-up requirements where necessary and support other departments during the night shift
