We are currently seeking a professional, motivated, and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our management team.The Role
As Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth coordination across all departments. You will act as a key point of contact for both guests and staff, maintaining high standards and supporting the management team.About the roleKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support all hotel departments during shiftsEnsure exceptional customer service and handle guest queries or complaints professionallyAssist in staff management, training, and performance monitoringMaintain health & safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel policiesSupport reception, food & beverage, and events operations as requiredManage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reportingAct as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of senior managementRequirementsPrevious supervisory or management experience in a hotel or hospitality environmentStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsExcellent customer service and problem-solving abilitiesFlexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of hotel systems (PMS) is an advantageA proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detailWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (based on experience)Opportunities for career development and progressionStaff meals and employee discountsSupportive and friendly working environmentAbout the companyA family-run hotel & bar group owned and managed by the Gallen Family.Required Criteria
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
Desired Criteria
  • Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS) is an advantage
