As the Process Manager, you will be at the heart of the production team, focused on:
- Making sure production lines hit their targets for speed, efficiency, and quality
- Looking for better ways to manage materials, reduce downtime, and speed up changeovers
- Working with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to solve production issues
- Leading or supporting improvement projects, from small tweaks to bigger changes
- Helping to train operators and new staff so they understand how to safely use equipment
- Carrying out safety and risk checks around the plant, and following up on any actions
- Keeping key production data, dashboards, and KPIs up to date
- Supporting new product trials and working with the Product Development Engineer when on-site
- A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with continuous processes
- Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (like 5S, SMED, SPC, or FMECA)
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- A practical, hands-on approach and the confidence to work directly on the production floor
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Risk assessment training is a big plus
- Six Sigma or Lean qualifications (desirable but not essential)
