The role holder will provide client support in the delivery of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analysis and reporting. As ESG reporting analysis and assurance are a continuously evolving and strategic key to business performance, this position presents an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to work with a cross-functional team and gain experience in an increasingly important area.The role holder will work closely with the Corporate Sustainability team to deliver all aspects of ESG reporting for the company, developing and analysing sustainability data for internal/external communications, including annual reports, sustainability disclosure reports, and other reporting and communications requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Sustainability Team in the development and implementation of ESG reporting and internal/external communications.Analyse sustainability data using statistical and data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This can involve performing quantitative and qualitative assessments.Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to assist in the creation of a robust processes and internal controls around ESG reporting and play a central role in CSRD readiness preparations.Stay updated to understand current and evolving ESG regulatory and reporting requirements.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sustainability data by validating sources, establishing data collection processes, and conducting regular data audits.Support in development of robust systems, processes and tools for sustainability data collection and analysis.Review current ESG related Policies & Procedures and assist in developing new and updated structures and controls to ensure compliance with ESG frameworks and Regulations.Handle day-to-day queries with third party consultants and auditors who may provide support for the delivery of reports and / or independently assure same.Support the needs of the business in other areas in responding to internal and external stakeholder data requests and analytic needs on an as-needed basisPrepare presentations and communication materials for management and external stakeholders.Establish strong and effective working relationships of collaboration and trust for business owners, technical partners, and co-workers.Support the needs of the business in other areas as required on sustainability data and ESG performance metrics.Requirements:EssentialDegree qualification (Minimum 2.1 Level 8) in a sustainability, environmental science, data science, engineering, or a related field required.A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a similar role with a mix of sustainability, data analysis, sustainability reporting or other related experience in sustainability required.In-depth knowledge and experience of various leading global ESG reporting standards and frameworks and regulations (e.g. CSRD, GRI, CDP, TCFD, SBTi, etc.), with a focus on social impact and dimensions.Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and filter large amounts of information and data, and present findings concisely to a range of stakeholders.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders across multiple projects at the same time.Experience using data visualisation tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Thorough and persistent, with attention to detail and accuracyHighly proficient in Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.DesirableA Masters/PhD in a relevant discipline is not essential but highly desirableProject management skills including the ability to lead a project team, prioritise tasks and provide mentoring as needed.SalaryDepending on experience
