Position: Network Tester (3G, 4G, 5G, VoLTE)Location: DublinJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Network Call Tester with expertise in 3G, 4G, 5G, and VoLTE technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of voice and data calls across multiple generations of wireless networks. This role involves developing and executing test plans, conducting end-to-end testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for 3G, 4G LTE, 5G, and VoLTE networks, covering call setup procedures, voice and data transmission, handover mechanisms, and network optimization.Conduct end-to-end testing of VoLTE services, including verification of HD voice quality, interoperability with legacy networks, and support for supplementary services.Perform regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing to evaluate the scalability, capacity, and resilience of LTE and 5G networks under varying load conditions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to network call quality, reliability, and performance.Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures or performance degradation, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.5 years of experience in network testing, with expertise in 3G, 4G, 5G, and VoLTE technologies.In-depth knowledge of network architectures, protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, Diameter), and call flows for 3G, 4G LTE, 5G, and VoLTE.Hands-on experience with testing tools and equipment, such as network simulators, protocol analyzers, and traffic generators.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance.GCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
