
Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant

- Lead and manage geo-environmental projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and risk assessments
- Design and procure geo-environmental site investigations,
- Manage and supervise ground investigations
- Prepare risk assessments (GQRA and DQRA)
- Advise on soil reuse, and prepare Regulation 27 and Regulation 28 applications.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff.
- Liaise with clients (internal and external), stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare detailed reports e.g. PSA, DQRA and EIAR
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Have has experience of successful managing the financial delivery of projects (or geo-environmental elements of projects)
- Have a commercial awareness and have contributed to the business development and client relationship management
- Membership and active participation in relevant professional/industry bodies (e.g. IBN, IAH, EI, IGI, or their equivalents) is an advantage)
- Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field (Level 9 Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geo-environmental consulting or a similar role.
- Strong Knowledge of Irish environmental regulations and standards.
- Proven track record in project management and team leadership both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Should be Chartered Environmental Consultant, Chartered Engineer, Professional Geologist or be close to achieving the same
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
