- Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of OSI PI systems within regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environments, ensuring alignment with GMP standards.
- Drive delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives using agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and manage cybersecurity patching for Aveva PI systems.
- Design robust system architectures with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Optimize historian performance, reduce latency, and ensure efficient data flow.
- Engage effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, QA, and Operations to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change control records in compliance with GMP/GxP standards and audit trail requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences or similar.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with OSI PI systems in pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors, with a strong understanding of regulated GMP environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces/Connectors.
- Experience with cloud-based PI solutions, hybrid architectures, and DNS/NLB configurations for distributed AF environments.
- Familiarity with client tool deployment via Citrix, Company Portal, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience in system architecture design, performance tuning, and historian optimisation.
- Strong understanding of GMP/GxP compliance, validation protocols, and documentation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead agile teams and manage delivery across multiple initiatives.
