Senior Air Conditioning Installation EngineerAn opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Senior Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join an established team working on commercial and industrial projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical expertise, precision, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary site teams.The successful candidate will take responsibility for the installation, commissioning, and handover of a variety of air conditioning and HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF systems, split units, chillers, and close control systems.Location: Dublin / Leinster Region

Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission VRV/VRF systems, split units, chillers, and close control systems
Interpret technical drawings and system layouts
Troubleshoot and resolve installation and commissioning issues
Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on site
Supervise and support apprentices and junior team members
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Complete necessary documentation and project handover reports

Essential Criteria:

Fully qualified refrigeration engineer with valid trade certification
Minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in HVAC installation
Proven experience installing and commissioning:
VRV/VRF systems
Split air conditioning units
Chillers and close control systems
Valid F-Gas certification
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
Full, clean driving licence
Eligibility to work in Ireland and/or the EU

Desirable Attributes:

Leadership experience on site or in small project teams
Certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, or MEWP
Familiarity with major brands (e.g., Daikin, Panasonic, Tecnair)
