Gempool is partnering with a global organisation operating within regulated, data-driven environments to hire a Director of Product Management.
In this role, you will define and execute product strategy across a portfolio of digital solutions, leading a team of Product Managers and Product Owners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align product direction with business objectives, drive innovation, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of users in a complex, regulated industry.What You'll Do
- Define and lead both short-term and long-term product strategy for assigned products and portfolios.
- Align product direction with overall business vision and organisational priorities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners.
- Oversee roadmap planning and ensure prioritisation of high-value initiatives.
- Identify new product opportunities and contribute to expansion of the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Strategy, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support.
- Guide teams in understanding user needs, market trends, and cross-product workflows.
- Monitor product performance and communicate progress against goals to senior stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation point, resolving challenges and removing blockers for your team.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of product team members.
- Drive continuous improvement of product management practices and team processes.
- Represent the product function in internal and external forums, including industry events where applicable.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management within software or digital product environments.
- 3+ years of experience managing and leading Product Managers and/or Product Owners.
- Proven experience defining and executing product strategy in complex environments.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to analyse complex business problems and make data-informed decisions.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Experience in clinical research, healthcare technology, or life sciences.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes and systems (e.g. EDC, CTMS) and regulatory requirements.
- Background working with SaaS or enterprise product platforms.
- Experience engaging with customers, industry leaders, or presenting at events.
- Understanding of product management frameworks, Agile methodologies, and modern product practices.
