Our client is currently seeking a Specification Technologist and Internal Auditor to join their team in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating product specifications and ensuring that all products meet regulatory requirements. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits and ensuring that all internal processes and procedures are being followed correctly.Responsibilities:Maintain and update product specifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.Work with the NPD team to ensure that all new products meet regulatory requirements.Conduct internal audits and ensure that all internal processes and procedures are being followed correctly.Identify areas for improvement and work with the relevant departments to implement changes.Provide support to the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System.Ensure that all products meet customer specifications.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and safetyReview and approve artwork and packaging materials to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirementsParticipate in supplier audits and assessments to ensure the quality and safety of raw materialsProvide technical support to other departments as required.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology or similar.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality control and regulatory requirementsExperience in conducting internal audits preferredKnowledge of regulatory requirements for food products including legislation and labellingStrong attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent time management skills.If you meet the requirements and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV for consideration
