Working with Athlone Canal Heritage Committee and it's sister project at No: 1 Gun Battery by assisting in the preservation and conservation works on Athlone Canal and the No 1 Gun Battery. Duties to include Litter picking, strimming and weed control, planting flowers, pruning of shrubs and hedges, painting of bollards, maintenance of fences, and cleaning of wooden and concrete structures. Flexibility is required as interchange of roles with Athlone Canal Heritage Committee and No 1 Gun Battery is required.
