Offering a sociable environment, we are committed to bringing out the best in our employees and as such provide constant training and development prospects.Role:As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of structural engineering projects for our clients, from initial design through to production. In this challenging role, you will prepare structural calculations for a wide range of projects, including multi-storey buildings and carparks, and design high quality pre-cast products that meet specifications. Mentor Design Technicians and guide them on all design aspects of the project. Check the Design Technicians 3D models, General Arrangement drawings and shop drawings. Liaising with customers, external design teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. You will provide technical guidance to our QS Department, H&S Department, Manufacturing Personnel and Site Erection crews.Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in a structural design engineering role with precast or reinforced concrete experience
  • A third level degree
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise daily workload
  • Focus on deadlines
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
