Work Arrangement: On-site (manufacturing environment)Job SummaryThe Site Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Ireland operation. This role will establish and maintain a standard costing system, support the preparation of statutory and management accounts, assess financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets.The role acts as a key business partner to site leadership and functional heads, providing financial insight to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The Site Finance Manager will also liaise with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax-related filings.Key Responsibilities * Costing & Operational Finance
- Establish and maintain the standard costing system for the manufacturing site.
- Perform costing and variance analysis and drive operational improvements.
- Evaluate and support cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly P&L forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor and report financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly statutory and management financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support external tax advisors with statutory filings and related matters.
- Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls.
- Capital & Resource Management
- Manage capital expenditure planning and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and review investment proposals for approval.
- Track and report on capital project performance.
- Inventory Management
- Prepare provisions for aged and obsolete inventory.
- Track and report inventory KPIs including cycle counts, scrap, PPVs, and inventory turns.
- Produce ad-hoc reports to support inventory decision-making for site and functional leaders.
- Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve system efficiency.
- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted finance partner to site leadership and functional teams.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a controlling and costing role within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience in manufacturing costing, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Regular use of computer screens, financial reports, and office equipment.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, and interaction with colleagues.
- Role is based on-site within a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environment.
