Join our client at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation and make a difference!Hobson Prior is seeking an on-site experienced Life Sciences IT Site Lead / Senior Manager to oversee the IT operations at a site level, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and corporate IT strategies. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading IT projects to support business functions.The hiring company is currently entering a commercialization phase where they intend to increase site capability which in turn leads to new processes and IT projects as the site grows. Please note this is not a remote position.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:

Oversee the IT department to meet business and site objectives.
Ensure safety and compliance with environmental and health standards and to ensure continued certification to ISO14001, 45001, 50001.
Develop and maintain IT strategies for infrastructure and applications.
Lead the installation and maintenance of IT systems and hardware.
Manage IT help desk processes to resolve user issues efficiently.
Oversee data backup and recovery systems.
Lead IT projects, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery e.g datacenters, SAN, NAS, MSSQL, and Oracle.
Ensure adherence to HPRA and FDA/Regulatory inspections.
Promote continuous improvement and effective communication within the team.
Ensure compliance with financial and procurement regulations.
Develop training plans to enhance team skills and flexibility.
Engage with the team to ensure open communication and collaboration.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience working within leadership and management skills in IT.
Working years of experience in IT with some of these years being IT experience in a GMP environment.
Ability to develop and implement IT strategies.
Strong understanding and experience with datacenters, SAN, NAS, MSSQL, and Oracle.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and applications.
Experience in managing IT projects and ensuring compliance with regulations e.g FDA, GMP, HPRA and GDPR.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Willing to be on-site.
