As a Planner, you will play a key role in preparing, coordinating, and monitoring project programmes across a range of building projects. This is a predominantly office-based role with regular interaction with project teams, site personnel, and senior management.Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using industry-standard software
- Monitoring progress, identifying delays, and advising on mitigation strategies
- Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure programme adherence
- Preparing progress reports, schedule updates, and forecast analyses
- Supporting tender submissions with preliminary programmes and methodology input
- Reviewing design information and construction methodology to ensure realistic planning
- Contributing to project meetings and liaising with clients and subcontractors when required
- 5+ years' experience in a planning role within the construction industry
- A background in building projects with a main contractor (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6)
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
- €75-80k salary, depending on experience
