You'll be working with C# and .NET Core to build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems. Architecture is microservice-based, with a strong emphasis on separation of concerns, testability, and resilience.You'll be joining a CI/CD culture with GitHub Actions, automated testing pipelines, and containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. Data-wise, the team uses SQL Server, alongside Azure Blob Storage and Cosmos DB for unstructured data needs. Day-to-day, your role will include writing clean, maintainable code, contributing to system architecture discussions, and owning features from planning through to release.You'll be expected to engage in code reviews, mentor junior developers when needed, and play a proactive role in improving dev workflows and best practices. This isn't a role where you're handed specs and told to build - your input on design patterns, scalability, and performance will be valued and expected.You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and DevOps to ensure the applications are secure, performant, and deliver a seamless user experience. Any experience bringing AI features into real-world applications, or at least an interest in learning and applying them, will be seen as a huge plus.
