Our client, a global consulting and engineering group, are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work across various railway projects. This role can be based in either Dublin or Cork.The purpose of this position is to assist the client Project Manager in the management of the project section through preliminary engineering for project definition and support the Project Manager in managing the regional consultant. You will be responsible for quality, on-time delivery of preliminary engineering design, reports, analyses, and related engineering and geotechnical documents.Responsibilities include:

Support the management of the regional consultant responsible for the delivery of the preliminary engineering documents
Assist in the development and management of scope, schedule, and budget for the delivery of the project section
Liaise with all interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

Knowledge of various phases and functional responsibility of rail project and transportation infrastructure project development and delivery, federal and state contracting laws and regulations
Experience in the design of major and complex transportation infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
