Medical Receptionist / AdministratorLocation: KilkennyHours: 37.5 per weekPosition: Full‑time, PermanentSalary: NegotiableOptimize Recruitment have partnered with a busy and well‑established surgical practice in Kilkenny to recruit a Medical Receptionist / Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment and enjoys being the welcoming face of a busy practice.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Front‑of‑house reception duties, greeting patients and managing queries
  • Handling incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Preparing and organising patient charts, filing, and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing general administrative support including typing, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Working collaboratively with the admin team to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous medical or surgical admin experience is an advantage (not essential)
  • Strong general administration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with IMED is beneficial
