
IT Compute Delivery Lead

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all PGCS compute IT I&O operations and delivery.
- Manage infrastructure components for multiple projects, including creating technical requirements documentation, obtaining cost and lead time estimates, and coordinating technical activities between vendors and project teams.
- Support servers and applications on Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including leading cloud migration strategies and managing cloud costs.
- Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Citrix and VDI environments
- Forecast and manage capital and operational expenditure for PGCS plants based on Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) and annual recurring support charges.
- Engage with Enterprise Services, CISO, PMO, plant IT teams, and PGCS business units to establish and maintain relationships across PepsiCo in order to stay abreast of current and new products/ technologies.
- Maintain patching/security compliance, vulnerability management, and remediation to PepsiCo standards, with monthly reporting.
- Act as recovery manager for critical incidents and Compute DR lead, managing DR tests for key infrastructure.
- Provide technical input on draft designs for project proposals.
- Report on current infrastructure, projects, vulnerabilities, and remediation plans.
- Support controls compliance requirements related to Compute, including SAP and OT controls.
- Assist project teams with technical troubleshooting and manage service and change requests.
- Drive strategic infrastructure projects using PepsiCo best practices and industry standards.
- Source, recruit, and onboard suitable candidates to support the PGCS compute team deliverables, managing and coordinating workloads to achieve goals.
- Establishes and maintains relationships across PepsiCo in order to stay abreast of current and new products/ technologies across multiple business processes.
- Degree/Masters in IT/BIS or related technical qualifications with 10+ years of industry experience.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Compute Infrastructure and associated operating systems (Server, Storage), with strong Windows Administration skills and basic Linux skills desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud technology, including staging, deploying, and securing systems on cloud platforms.
- Broad knowledge of network, end-user, mobile, and OT technologies, and security-related IT technologies, with a good understanding of networks and familiarity with firewalls from a compute perspective.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and experience in business-facing engagements.
- Experienced in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory. Skilled in Identity & Access Management platforms, including access reviews, role-based access control, and federated identity integration.
- Knowledge of IT Resiliency concepts, infrastructure, and application high availability.
- Familiarity with Cyber Security concepts such as risk assessments, data protection, and identity management.
- Experience with IT Operating & Support Models.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMWare vSphere and clustering.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery principles, schedules, and techniques.
- Experience with disaster recovery principles, planning, coordination, and execution.
- Operational Readiness Testing experience.
- Strong vendor technical project management skills and experience managing third-party vendors and managed services partners.
- Ability to work in and with virtual teams located globally.
- Previous experience managing a team is required.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and accessibly to diverse audiences.
