ARCS are currently opening a new service in Co. Waterford & recruiting for Full Time, Part Time and Relief Social Care Workers & Support Workers positions, for their High Support Autism and Disability's centre. The service is based just outside of Annestown, Co. Waterford.ARCS, part of the Daffodil Care Group invests in our teams and truly value their contribution to the organisation.Who we are -As a Social Care Worker / Support Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.What we can offer you:

Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Level 7 qualification or degree in the care sector some relevant degrees include:
  • Social Care
  • Social work
  • Psychology
  • Child & Adult Psychotherapy
  • Youth & Community
  • Teaching
  • Nursing
  • Social Science
  • Counselling
  • Addiction Studies
  • Early Childhood studies
  • Disability studies
Support workers need a minimum of a Level 5 qualification in any of the above.
  • A full driving license
  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
