We have an exciting new opportunity for a Group Underwriting Manager to join a leading global insurer in Dublin.This high-impact role will suit an experienced actuary with strong pricing expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence and lead within a dynamic, multinational environment.About the role

Support the Regional Head in providing leadership across the team, acting as a key delegate on strategic initiatives, pricing approvals, and high-impact negotiations.
Partner in steering departmental objectives, ensuring targets are met and progress aligns with overarching regional plans.
Oversee the assessment and sign-off of underwriting proposals for both new and renewing clients, aligning decisions with commercial growth ambitions.
Ensure client-focused, timely responses to pricing and quotation requests, maintaining competitive positioning while upholding underwriting discipline.

This position will suit:

Qualified Actuary with 3-5 years Pricing experience
Experience within Life, GI / Health Insurance.
Strong project management experience
Experience using actuarial modelling tools and systems such as Excel, Prophet, or similar platforms
