Artic Driver / Trainer

• Develop, plan, and deliver driver training sessions covering safety protocols, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Assess driver skills and competencies through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct on-road assessments to ensure drivers meet safety and performance standards.
• Carry out deliveries as needed when no training or assessments are scheduled, demonstrating proper driving techniques and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, assessments, and delivery logs.
• Stay updated on transportation regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to identify training needs and improve driver performance.
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among drivers.

• Previous and documented experience in a driver training position for at least 2 years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to perform on-road driving assessments, delivery sites, and deliveries as required
• Understanding of driving legislation governing the use of tachographs and working hours
• Valid CE Licence for a minimum of two years (do not apply to current employees)
• Experience in driving articulated trucks to a high standard and being accident-free for at least 3 years
• Valid CPC & tacho card
• Knowledge and previous experience of refrigerated trailers are desirable
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes at short notice to meet the demands placed on MBUK-IE by our customer

• Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths (Essential)
• Knowledge of vehicle and refrigeration systems (Essential)
• Understanding of EU drivers hours & EU working time directive regulations (Essential)
• Experience of working with refrigerated vehicles (Desirable)
• This position must pass a post-offer background check
