My client is a leading Irish Main Contractor with over 100 years of consistent industry presence, renowned for delivering high-quality projects in Industrial, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, and Educational sectors. They are now looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team on a permanent basis.You will be joining a well-established and highly regarded team, contributing to a wide range of prestigious, high-value projects across multiple sectors. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, this role will see you actively involved at all stages of project delivery — from early planning through to handover.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, manage, and present monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reportsLead preparation and agreement of monthly project Payment ClaimsOversee the preparation of detailed Internal and External Project Cashflow forecastsManage Change Control processes, including identification, pricing, and negotiation of variationsAssess and quantify the impact of project delays and disruptions, providing detailed reports and solutionsMonitor and control all commercial and contractual aspects throughout the project lifecycleAct as Commercial Lead on designated projects, representing the business at a senior levelLiaise closely with clients, client representatives, and design teams to maintain strong relationships and project alignmentAdminister contract provisions in line with RIAI, GCC, and bespoke forms, ensuring compliance with all notification requirementsLead procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, drafting and issuing subcontractsOversee commercial management of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation and agreement of final accountsEnsure accurate project documentation and reporting to support decision-making and governanceRequirements:Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contracting environmentStrong contractual and commercial acumen, with excellent attention to detailProven communication skills (written and verbal), with experience dealing directly with clients and multidisciplinary design teamsExcellent negotiation and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment * Track record of delivering high-quality, medium-to-large scale projects across a variety of sectors (Industrial, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Education)
