Package: €NegAn established freight forwarder is currently seeking an experienced Air Export Operations Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process export bookings for airfreight shipments
- Track shipments from booking through to delivery and ensure timely customer invoicing and payment
- Deliver high-quality customer service to both clients and internal teams
- Coordinate with airlines to secure competitive rates and efficient transit times
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams regarding collections and freight handling
- Prepare and label goods for export
- Handle sales and purchase invoicing, resolving any discrepancies or queries
- Respond to rate requests and issue accurate quotations
- Support the development and growth of the airfreight service
- Collaborate with international agent network to ensure seamless end-to-end service
- Provide holiday cover for operations colleagues as required
- Offer administrative support to the wider airfreight team
- Occasionally attend client meetings when needed
- Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
