Job DescriptionCpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 1, Oncology Inpatient Unit at a leading Cork City Hospital. There is both a full and a part-time opportunity available where the successful applicants will be joining a dynamic team and professional service within a very established hospital setting. The hospital provides cancer services to a large regional catchment area and encompasses diagnosis, staging and all aspects of cancer treatment. The service extends to an active clinical trials unit, offering a range of international and investigator-initiated studies. All consultant medical oncologists and haematologists have extensive medical oncology training within Ireland and at internationally recognised cancer centres. Along with the teams of nurses on the inpatient and day wards, there are Clinical Nurse Specialists supporting palliative care, oncology liaison, triage and clinical trials.To be considered for the role, interested applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI
A minimum of 3 years experience as a staff nurse in an acute general hospital.
Relevant course in Oncology nursing or equivalent essential.
A management qualification is desirable.
Shift work is a requirement of this post.
