
Regulatory Analyst

- Assist in carrying out EirGrid’s regulation function that includes regulatory reporting (internal and external), running public consultations and preparing recommendations for Regulatory Authority approval.
- Support the management of the business’ regulatory programme including co-ordination of Price Review ongoing reporting requirements.
- Assist in the compilation of the business’ regulatory deliverables and compliance requirements.
- Act as point of contact for specific regulatory deliverables with the Regulatory Authorities.
- Support the Procurement of external consultants, as required, to support delivery of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support the Group Head of Regulation and Team Leads in relation to strategic regulatory projects.
- Carrying out such other functions as may be required from time to time to support delivery of EirGrid’s regulatory strategy.
- Degree or other recognised qualification in business, engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to draft and present documentation in a rational, evidence-based, clear, and concise manner.
- High level of attention to detail and pride in one’s own work.
- Ability to work as part of a team, while also being able to define and guide work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated flexible working approach with ability to lead and prioritise a wide range of demands and activities whilst maintaining a professional and positive focus.
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities coupled with the ability to make reasoned judgements based on available information.
- Experience of advising a sector-specific regulator or governmental organisation, and/or of working in an energy environment is desirable.
