5 – 10 years Post-Graduate experience with a Main Contractor.
Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor
Commercial / Residential construction experience or similar
An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings

As Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Commercial Manager
Advise on contractual matters - general and project level
Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
Reporting on budgets and variations
Negotiate and agree subcontractors

What you'll get in returnThe base salary for the position is negotiable but expected to be €80,000 – €85,000 + package.
