
Senior SAP Business Analyst

- Gather and document business requirements: Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, especially for cross-functional projects. Document these requirements into clear and concise functional documents that can be approved by stakeholders and leveraged by developers. Knowledge of flowcharting and user story creation is required.
- Leverage data knowledge: Develop business requirements for reporting, leveraging knowledge of ERP data and data lake concepts
- Analyze business processes: Identify areas for improvement and recommend SAP solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Liaise between stakeholders and developers: Improve/update documentation and answer questions developers have around requirements.
- Conduct system testing: Help to create test plans and document results to ensure solutions meet user requirements.
- Stay updated on SAP trends: Keep abreast of the latest innovations and best practices in SAP systems.
- Own Signavio or other process-based systems. Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT to run analyses, provide recommendations for improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or other related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience as an SAP business analyst with increasing levels of responsibility; 3 years of experience collaborating with development teams, internal or external; global support experience
- Diverse experience in multiple functional areas (e.g., Supply Chain management, business intelligence, vendor management, procurement, finance, sales, payroll, procure-to-pay, customer-to-cash) and hands-on experience in leading user acceptance testing
- Experience in creating and managing requirements governance processes.
- Strong knowledge of data, SAP data tables and data lake concepts. Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
- Ability to conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both business users and developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates hands-on knowledge of SDLC methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile)
- Manages ambiguity well. Has a global outlook and develops local expertise while operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
