- Develop designs for maritime structures, flood defenses, and coastal protection from initial concept to construction.
- Conduct risk assessments for coastal erosion and flood hazards, incorporating climate change impacts.
- Prepare project documentation, including technical reports and tender responses.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and manage task delegation to support project timelines.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or marine engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in areas such as port and harbor engineering, dredging, reclamation, metocean studies, coastal protection, or renewable energy projects.
- Strong team collaboration skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with coastal risk mapping, modeling tools, or GIS is preferred.
- Experience in Irish or UK markets and additional European language skills is beneficial.
